As I had to take a week off from work over the Christmas break, I decided to use it to visit Morocco for a few days, Morocco being the closest country to the UK I hadn't visited.
I was based in Marrakesh, but also did trips into the nearby Atlas mountains and by train to Casablanca. While in Marrakesh, a little surprising was that there were no fireworks for New Year, despite the fact the whole city seemed to be out on the streets!
