In February 2010 I had a week off after my January exams, so decided to make the most of it by flying off to Iceland for the week; Iceland being one of the few countries in Europe I hadn't visited.
I only had three full days on the island - but certainly made the most of them - and also got exceptionally lucky when I saw what was apparently the best sighting of the Northern Lights there for several years!
