In 2008, I did a second trip around the European continent, which saw me travelling solo for the first time. I flew out to Kaunas in Lithuania, bound for the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius. I then spent roughly a week in each of the Baltics/Russia, Scandanavia, the Low Countries, Switzerland and Iberia. This trip was somewhat more adventurous than the previous year with the inclusion of Russia (and the hassle of visas/Russian train tickets that that entailed) - but was well worth it!
