In 2010, I used the opportunity of a final long summer holiday to take my interrailing a little further - by travelling all the way to China by train! I began by heading east through Europe to Moscow, then taking the Trans-Siberian across Russia (with a few detours off the main route), before heading down south through Mongolia to reach Beijing. I also spent some time exploring the two Koreas and Japan before heading home. I suspect this trip will remain the most adventurous I've done for quite some time!
